Savoring The Summer

Yesterday Daniel and I took a drive up to Sauvie Island for the afternoon with a few friends. I was so busy eating veggie dogs, swimming in the river and having a good time, I totally forgot I had brought my camera. Bummer! But I did manage to snap a quick shot on the ride home. :)

Just cruising home after a great day in the sun. Listening to Kings of Convenience; the soundtrack to our summer. <3

As I sit here in my apartment now, watching the rain and sipping tea, I have a hard time believing it was this sunny and warm yesterday, but that's Portland for ya. And I have to say, it makings crocheting wool cowls for winter all the more fun!
